In July 2007, I made the decision to get out of the corporate world and do what I love to do.  Being quite the animal lover, I created Blue Ridge Pet Sitting, L.L.C. as a business to take care of and be an advocate for animals.

I obtained a business license in the Wild and Wonderful state of West Virginia along with proper insurance through Pet Sitters Associates, L.L.C., not only for my business but for my clients and their pets as well.  I've attended classes and I'm currently certified in Pet First Aid through the American Red Cross.  At the beginning of 2009, I decided to move back closer to home (Manassas, VA) and continue the business there.  Initially I'll live and operate in the Stafford area with the intention of eventually expanding out to offer services throughout Northern Virginia.

I'm an active volunteer for CHAAMP (Chesapeake Area Alaskan Malamute Protection) rescue (since 2005) and, as of 2008, I also volunteer for “The Ranger Foundation” which is a retirement home for service horses who have once served for the Military or Police Departments across the country or have been part of a Therapeutic Riding Facility.
